3(1/6x + 9) = 1/2x - 27
PLS help this is the hardest problem on the sheet.

first distribute the 3 to (1/6x + 9) to get 3/6x + 27. simplify to get 1/2x + 27. now we have 1/2x + 27 = 1/2x - 27. subtract 1/2x from each sides and you get 27=-27. this obviously isn't true so there is no solution
