Please help me simplify 9x-3(2+4x)=

9x - 3(2+4x) = 9x-3(2)-3(4x) = 9x-6-12x = 9x-12x-6
9x - 3(2+4x) = -3x-6 = -3(x+2)

Answer: -3x-6 or -3(x+2)

Combine like terms

9x - 12x = -3x

-3x - 6
