you devide 258.5 by 5.5 and you get 47
To answer this we will divide the amount of miles by d amount of hours. Lets do it:-  

258.5 ÷ 5.5 = 47 47 miles per hour  

CHECK OUR WORK:-  

47 × 5.5 = 258.5
We were RIGHT!!  

So, 47 miles per hour
