we know that

Radical equation:

A radical equation is an equation in which a variable is under a radical

And to solve such equations , we isolate radical expression terms involving variable

For example:

[tex] \sqrt{2x+1} =1 [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{x+3}-2=9 [/tex]

We can see that in all terms , there must be radical then only it is called radical equation
