So you write a capital t (T). Then you put this sign <. Then, the first number is the x number. If it goes right 4, this number will be 4. If it goes left 4, then it is -4. Same thing with the second number. It’s the y number. If the translate is 5 right and 4 down, the translation notation would be T<5, -4>. I hope this helps!
