This reflects the basic human right to due process. It is one of the five basic human rights: the right of free consent, the right of privacy, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech and right to due process. The right to due process is described in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. It focuses on the administration of justice and it protects citizens from arbitrary violations of their rights to life, liberty and property.
