Would the united states have been better off if the virginia plan had been adopted as presented? if the new jersey plan had been adopted?

Neither the Virginia Plan nor New Jersey Plan would have bettered the United States if adopted, because either the larger or smaller states would constantly have resentment toward the system. The Connecticut Plan, combining both plans, was the compromise that could be seen as acceptable.
