Find the zeros of the function. y=(3x+2)(x+4)

if (3x+2)(x+4) = 0 then one of the 2 factors ( or both) have to be 0. set each to ,0 and solve for x
3x+2=0 means x =-2/3
if x,+4=0 then x = -4
that's your two zeros
