How different was the rule of Emperor Marcus-Aurelius from that of his son commodes

He was different because Marcus-Aurelius was an extremely important figure in the history of the Roman Empire and was considered to be a very enlightened emperor. Not only that, he was also an important philosopher and is today therefore considered to be an interesting figure to study. Commodus on the other hand, did not have such great traits and is not considered to have been a particularly good emperor.
