1) Solve for x:

7 - 0.01x - 0.02y = 0

Divide both members by 0.01 => 7/0.01 - 0.02y / 0.01  = 0.01x / 0.01

=> x = 700 - 2y

2) Solve for y.

The goal is to isolate y

Transpose - 0.02y => 7 - 0.01x = 0.02y

Divide by 0.02 => 7/0.02 - 0.01x / 0.02 = 0.02y / 0.02

=> y = 350 - 0.5x

Answer: y = 350 - 0.5x
