The meter in this poem is iambic pentameter.
Iambic pentameter is a popular meter that even Shakespeare always used. Pentameter means that there are 10 syllables in each line - penta means 5, meter has 2 syllables, which means there are 10 syllables. Iamb refers to the stress of syllables - the succession of unstressed and stressed syllables.
