How does temperature affect thermal energy?

if you increase temperature you increase thermal energy if you double the amount you have the temperature does not change but the thermal energy does

Thermal energy is anything that has a temperature/ can create a temperature (heat energy) therefore if the temperature increases, this means that the thermal energy of the item/object will increase too.
