Ashlee’s garden is 54.75 m long and 35.50 m wide. What is the area of Ashlee’s garden?

A=lw are equals length times width so you do 54.75 times 35.50 to get your answer of 1943.625 the number in the tenths spot is 6 so you look at its neighbor to the right and see it is less than 5 so when you round your number you get 1943.6 as your answer (because the numbers to the right of the tenths turned into zero's)
