Earth itself is the main carbon store. it contains more carbon than that of the oceans, in its core, mantle and crust. Ocean is the secondary storage source of carbon on the earth. Carbon is present in dissolevd form in all the water bodies. Some of the carbon is also present in the atmosphere. Carbon is the fourth most abundant element on the earth.
