Andrew Carnegie was one of the wealthiest men in world history. However, he was particualrly well-known for his philantropy and social commitment. One of the ways in which he expressed this was by his so-called "Gospel of Wealth." This stated that rich people had a responsibility towards society, and thus, should freely share their money in order to improve life for everyone.
