What would happen to our bodies if blood ph was changed or altered?

The blood pH is usually maintained at a constant value. If the blood pH is changed, the enzymes in the body cells which catalyze biochemical reactions will be negatively affected and will not be able to carry out their activities which sustain life. If this trend is not quickly reversed, it may leads to death.
