Hello! If you know the meaning to cause and effect, then you know it means something took place and as a result, something happened. So for example: Cause "A hurricane blew down a tree" Effect " The tree smashed a car." This is happening with the tornado. THe tornado being the cause, and the fire and burns being the effect!
