Charles II was placed as the head of the restored Stuart monarchy. He was the individual who established the proprietary colonies in North America, which became known as Restoration Colonies.
The leadership positions in the Restoration colonies were Given by Charles II toward the people that loyal to him and have been his assistance during the Stuart Restoration
