The slope of the line can be found like this..
y2-y1/x2-x1
so plug in...
0-3/0-(-6)
you get -3 divided by 6
the slope is -3/6

Slope= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
In this case, you are subtracting a negative, so it would look like this:
(0-3)/(0-(-6))=(-3)/(0+6)=(-3)/6=(-1/2)
