As this can is a cylinder, and the volume of a cylinder can be expressed by h(pi)(r^2).  The diameter = 2r so the radius for this can is 1.4.  now plug into the equation 4.2(pi)(1.4)^2.  when solved, the approximate volume of the can = 25.86 inches^3 when rounded to the nearest hundredth
