Given the following polynomial find the maximum possible number of turning points. f(x)=x8+x14+x6+x13

f(x) = x^6(x^2 + x^8 + x^7 + 1)

The number of turning point depends on the number of real roots. 

By graphing, x^8 + x^7 + x^2 + 1 = 0 has no real roots.

So that means f(x) only have on turning point when x = 0
