When a political group gerrymanders, they draw voting lines specifically so that their group has an advantage over the other ones. let's pretend that they draw it so that every voting sector had 10 blue voters but only 6 red ones. Then they are guarenteed the win and the win after that. This causes a big problem to the democratic system because the voting booths are bias in the first place.
