In “Civil Peace” Jonathan Iwegbu tries to disclose to himself the complexities of life by rehashing this announcement four times. For sure, everything perplexes him, yet in the event that God sees, at that point, one would continue to be able to give life seriously and be thankful for what one has. The initial three times he says this make references to supernatural occurrences which happen after the Civil War and advantage the family, for example, finding their bicycle.
