electrical engineers, not nuclear or chemical engineers ran tests at the plant and caused the nuclear reactors to meltdown., spewing radiation for miles. today it is still highly contaminated and won't be naturally cleaned up for thousands of years. since Ukraine produces the most grain for Europe it also affects Ukraine economically.
