why do you think the tech industry has embraced the idea of failure?

I think they embraced it because, the people will judge it and then they can improve upon it when they know what the public wants.

They want to be able to improve the world as much as possible as quickly as possible. You learn more from your failures than your mistakes so they know that they can make better technological equipment if they fail every so often.
