So, we know that 30% of 100 is 30. 50 is HALF of 100 so we can cut the 30 into half and we get a $15 dollar discount. :)
+ Purchase Price = $50
- Discount (50 x 30)/100 = $15.00
= Final Price 50 - 15.00 = $35.00
