Since both equations are equal to y, we can plug in 4x+3 as why in the second equation and solve for x

4x+3=-x-2
5x+3=-2 (add x to both sides)
5x=-5 (subtract 3 from both sides)
x=-1 (divide both sides by 5)

Then we can plug x=-1 into either orignial to solve for y
y=-x-2
y=-(-1)-2
y=1-2
y=-1

So the answer is (-1,-1)

Hope this helps
