Why is rapid population growth often a problem??Help!!!!

The natural resources may not be able to keep up with the growth and some of the new population will starve or the population will ruin the natural resources.

Because more people=more mouths to feed/more hungry people across the globe and less resources to meet everyone's essential needs. Food and other resources will run dry
