Y intercept: put 0 in for x and you'll get the you value
Like this:
Y=-2(0+5)^2+18
Y=-2(5)^2+18
Y=-2(25)+18
Y=-50+18
Y=-32
(0,-32)
X intercept: put 0 in for y and do the same thing.
Like this 0=-2(x+5)^2+18
-18=-2(x+5)^2
Divide by -2
9=(x+5)^2
Square root
3=x+5
-2=x
(-2,0)
