What are the signs of persecution?
- Persecution delusions are the most common delusion. It is occurs when you believe someone is mistreating, conspiring against, or planning to harm you or a loved one. Another type is grandiose delusions, which occur when you have an unrealistically high opinion of yourself or your accomplishments.
- Paranoia involves persecutory delusions. The state of constantly doubting and mistrusting other people for no apparent reason is referred to as paranoia. Persecutory delusions occur when paranoid feelings become a more fixed belief.
- Persecutory delusions can causes by drug, some drug that causes are cocaine and amphetamine. To stop it sometimes doctor will suggest a psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral/talk therapy) and give a prescribe such as olanzapine and risperidone if needed.
