The LCM is 54
First find the prime factorization of 9
9=3x3
Then find the prime factorization of 54
54=2x3x3x3
Multiply each factor the greater number of times it occurs in steps i) or ii) above to find the LCM:

LCM = 2 × 3 × 3 × 3

LCM=54
