To determine the solution of the given equation, we can use the quadratic formula which is expressed as:

x = (-b +/- √b^2 - 4ac ) / 2a

where a, b and c are the coefficients of the equation ( ax^2 + bx + c = 0) 

USing the formula above we obtain the values:

x = 21
x = 3/4
