Find the sum of the first eight terms of a linear sequence whose first term is 6 and whose last term is 46.

S = sum of the first n terms of an arithmetic sequence

S = (n/2)*(firstTerm + nthTerm)

S = (8/2)*(firstTerm + 8thTerm)

S = 4*(6 + 46)

S = 4*52
