Solution
Radius of the circular frame=d/2=3/2=1.5ft
Radius of the circular mirror inside=1.5/2=0.75ft
Area of the circular mirror frame=piR^2-pir^2
=3.14x1.5x1.5-3.14x0.75x0.75
=7.065-1.77
=5.295ft^2

Therefore 5.295ft^2 is the area of the circular mirror frame.
