Okay, so diseases such as Black Death no longer affect families on a large scale, however, there are many other adverse challenges that modern families have to face. For example, stress is a huge adverse factor in families, due to hectic modern life, jobs, and school, which can put a strain on family relations. This may lead to disease, to cheating, divorcing, etc. Money and poverty can also be an issue.
