It would eventually repair its self or kill itself and infect other organs

I believe the answer is: The body would probably not survive.

Human body is a collection of complex system and each organs in united states serves its own function that contribute to the complex system.

The work result of one organ tend to be needed by other organ in order to function. Because of this, when one organ stopped working, the function of other organ would most likely be interrupted, which make the body unable to survive.
