The answer is m = 7.

1. (13−m=2(m−4) Regroup terms
2. Expand (13−m=2m−8)
3.
Add m to both sides (13=2m−8+m)
4.
Simplify (2m−8+m to 3m−8)
5. add 8 to both sides (13 + 8 = 3m)
6.
Simplify 13+8 to 21
7.
Divide both sides by 33 (21/3 = m)
8. simplify 21/3 to 7 (7 = m)
9. switch sides ( finally m = 7)
