"Star-crossed lovers" and "Death-mark'd love" are in themselves ways to say that tragedy will befall two in love. So in the prologue it clearly states that they will meet a tragic end, most likely death.
The prologue reveals that the play is gonna be a tragedy, we find out that romeo and juliet are "star-cross'd lovers" which in itself shows the theme of love and fate!
