how do the first paragraphs of the story create tension

It is the introduction of the story so it gives you an idea of what the story is going to be about without telling what the “problem” is or how the “problem” is going to get solved. When reading the introduction readers are going to have to have to read the rest of the story in order to figure out what happens creating tension.
