Based on the photographs, the ghettos were a terrible place tolive. The ghettos were over crowded and unsanitary. Barbed wirefences surrounded the ghettos to make sure that the Jewish peoplecould not leave. The unsanitary conditions led to an unhealthy place tolive, making the Jews sick.
