Answer: Urban areas can refer to towns, also cities, last but not least suburbs. Urban areas can also include the city itself, with surrounding. Moving to Rural areas, they're the opposite of urban areas. Usually, Rural areas, are usually called "the country", most of the time, there's a low population density, with an abundant amount of undeveloped land.
