When loading samples in an electrophoresis gel, the the plunger of the micropipette should be depressed until after you have raised the micropipettor away from the gel.
This is referring to the gel electrophoresis lab... You should never depress the plunger of the micropipette after you have raised the micropipette away from the gel.
