[tex]a^{3}-b^{3} =(a-b)(a^{2} +ab+b^{2} )[/tex]125-8=[tex]5^{3} -2^{3} =(5-2)( 5^{2} +5*2+2^{2} )=3*(25+10+4)[/tex]=3*39=117
