the limit for 2- is 4 and the limit for 2+ is -4.
this is called a jump discontinuity where the points don’t meet. it’s really easy, for 2- it’s saying what is the y value as you approach the x value of 2 from the LEFT which is 4, and 2+ means what is the x value when approaching the x value 2 from the RIGHT.
