Leonardo da Vinci, a key artist of the Renaissance, was the creator of the Mona Lisa and the Vitruvian Man. His works (Vitruvian Man) stress the importance on man and how man is perfect and divine. Leonardo da Vinci lived in Italy and from 1452-1519. He was truly a Renaissance Man because he excelled in all aspects: science, anatomy, painting, murals, sculpture. He was truly centuries ahead of his time.
