Gases don’t have a definite shape or definite volume. So, they expand to the size of their container.
They are fluid, and flow easily.
They have low density, unless compressed because being made of tiny particles in a large, open space, gases are very compressible.
Gases can diffuse (mix and spread out) and can effuse (travel through small holes).
