You must add 25 to both sides. [tex] \frac{10}{2} ^{2} [/tex]=[tex] 5^{2} [/tex]= 25. Your answer would be [tex] x^{2} [/tex]+10x+25=62.

(x+5)(x+5)=62

(x+5)=[tex] \sqrt{62}[/tex]=7.87

(x+5)=7.87

x=2.87
