During the process of translation, mRNA decodes information from the original DNA master plan to build proteins in the ribosomes. During the transcription, mRNA is synthesized from DNA using the rules of complementarity. mRNA now carries the information for sequences of amino acids in proteins. The protein synthesis takes place in the ribosomes during the translation.
