If 1/2 + 2/5 s = s 3:4 what is the value of s

0.5+0.4s=s-0.75 ( i simplified the fractions to decimals even there was no need to )

then take the variables to one side and the numbers to the other side

0.5+0.75= S -0.4s

1.25 =0.6 S

1.25/0.6 = s

S = 2.08
