B. We drink fresh water, we cannot drink Salt Water and survive.
Some food, such as kelp/seaweed/nori grows in salt water. And some food is cooked in Salt/Ocean water.
...but fresh water is used in all of the above, as well...so...the question, as posted, is open to your interpretation.
